STRUCTURES SUPERINTENDENT & CREW:

American Civil Constructors, Inc. is seeking qualified structures superintendents and support laborers and craft workers related to the construction of bridges, retaining walls, box culvers and other construction project.

Candidates must have an excellent understanding of structures equipment and the selection of the right equipment for the job. Experience with formwork systems and falsework installation - similarly able to engage the engineer of record on falsework design in order to efficiently build a safe project. Strong understanding of OSHA requirements, common specifications and construction methods. The superintendent should have experience leading crews, documenting daily activities, pre-planning, the ability to read plans/survey and communicate with clients. All personnel should have the ability to regularly lift/push/pull 30 lbs and navigate unstable work surfaces. Candidates must be willing to travel - typically in-state.

EQUIPMENT OPERATORS:

American Civil Constructors is seeking experienced equipment operators for excavators, dozers and blades. Qualified candidates will understand safe operating practices, be able to read plans/grade stakes, understand basic maintenance requirements of the equipment and how to direct support laborers. Occasional Davis Bacon projects with OT typically available.

CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENTS:

ACC is looking for several experienced construction superintendents to run the day-to-day operations of a civil construction project controlling the schedule, quality and safety. The best candidate would have a strong understanding of construction methods, equipment, OSHA expectations, the ability to manage and motivate employees and a good work ethic a must. The candidate must also have a good driving record based on ACC policy.

FIELD ENGINEER:

ACC is interested in both entry level and experienced field engineers to handle contract management on the jobsite including tracking quantities, change orders, scheduling subcontractors and staffing. Must be able to effectively work with the owners and employees, have a strong understanding of construction methods and safety expectations, and be self driven. Candidates should have or be working towards a BA in Construction Management or similar degree and have a good driving record based on ACC policy.

CLASS A CDL DRIVERS:

Local civil contractor seeks experienced Class A CDL Drivers able to safely run low boy, water trucks, tandem dumps, semis, and side/end/belly dumps. Tanker endorsement would be preferable. Must be willing to accept some travel.
