Local Service

The fees listed above reflect all charges associated with a land line telephone. The Local Access fee is for the telephone line. The others listed are surcharges associated with a land line telephone.

*All customers have access to directory assistance, 911 service, long distance and operator services.

Access Recovery Charge (ARC)

The Access Recovery Charge (ARC) is being applied in accordance with the FCC’s rules which allow Twin Valley to recover a portion of its costs for providing interstate services. The monthly charge for residence and single line businesses is $2.00 per line. The monthly line for multi-line businesses is $3.00 per line. The ARC charge will not apply to Lifeline customers.

Kansas Relay Center

Kansas Relay Center (KRC) is a public service which guarantees all citizens access to prompt, professional and accurate communication through the telephone. Consumers of these specialized services, specifically individuals who are deaf, deaf-blind, hard of hearing or who have difficulty speaking, can communicate on the telephone via TTY/TDD, Voice Carry Over (VCO), Hearing Carry Over (HCO), Speech-to-Speech (STS), Spanish-to-Spanish and Captioned Telephone (CapTel®) in order to connect with family, friends or businesses with ease.
